SKIING ITALY HOLIDAY PACKAGES
To
help you to decide exactly what suits your needs best, we have
put our holiday packages into the 3 categories being, Gold, Silver
and Bronze.
There are some really important factors to take into consideration
when planning your next ski trip. They are:
- APARTMENTS please plan your dates from Saturday
to Saturday based on a weekly stay. Apartments Posta Zirm are
an exception with arrivals and departures on Sundays.
- HOTELS they too plan their arrivals and
departures based on a weekly stay from Saturday to Saturday.
As noted above, Hotel Posta Zirm base their weeks from Sunday
to Sunday. There are a small number of 4 star hotels that are
the exception and do take mid week arrivals and departures,
namely Hotel Christiania and Hotel Rosa Alpina. If you are considering
a 10 day holiday then these two hotels would be highly recommended.
10 DAY HOLIDAYS AND LONGER we can certainly
provide you with a 10 day holiday or longer however we are often
restricted by accommodation arrival and departure dates. Please
contact us directly and we will do our utmost to secure your
specific dates. As mentioned above Hotel Christiania and Hotel
Rosa Alpina do accept mid week arrivals and departures.
- CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR if you are planning
a ski holiday over the Christmas and New Year period you should
be aware that all of the properties try to maximise this time
of year and most will only take bookings for the entire period
of the 22nd/23rd December through to the 2nd or 3rd January
- being 10 days. There are some exceptions so you should contact
us directly to discuss the options.

times as you like. The Gold Holiday is based on the inclusions
listed below however a customised quote will be given depending
upon the number of people in your party. This is also an excellent
service for our clients who enjoy a high public profile and would
like the extra privacy and anonymity whilst on holidays. Complete
discreetness and confidentiality is guaranteed.
SKIARE'S SILVER HOLIDAY
Our
Silver Holiday is based on a maximum of 8 people per group skiing
with one of the Skiare ski instructors. Your ski instructor will
advise you of a designated time and meeting place each afternoon
for the following ski day. All of our groups are divided into
levels of ability however we always take families and friends
who maybe a different level of skiing into account. Our ski instructors
are always in constant communication with each other and try to
meet for lunch when possible. If at any time clients would like
to drop down a level to ski with friends and family they are most
welcome too, with numbers permitting.

inclusions:

And for those who are would like a little extra....
- Enjoy a combined helicopter sightseeing flight over,
through and around the Dolomites followed by an on piste
drop off at the highest peak of the Dolomites, the Marmolada
Glacier (3,342m).
- Take a picture perfect horse sleigh ride through the snow.
- Have a night out up on the mountain at one of the many
fantastic mountain huts. Club Moritzino is famous for it?s
dinner, disco and then sensational ski experience of being
lead down the mountain by the spotlights of several grooming
machines behind you. It certainly is an experience you will
never forget. But for those a little less adventurous there
our several other mountain huts such as Punta Trieste, Las
Vegas and Hutte Saraghes who do a great evening with a toboggan
or ski home.
- WW1 Tour is a great way of skiing to some really fantastic
areas and taking in a great deal of history. An intermediate
level of skiing is recommended as it is a big day out. Talk
to your Skiare ski instructor about doing the WW1 tour.
- Tobogganing is great fun and there is a fantastic toboggan
track from the top of Piz Sorega to the town of San Cassiano.
No matter what age you are, this certainly finds the child
in everyone.
- Alta Badia to Kitzb?hel. If you are keen to continue your
Skiare experience then we recommend you consider the resort
of Kitzb?hel in Austria. It is a picturesque village with
terrific skiing. You will have a Skiare ski instructor looking
after you and leading you all the way. For further details
please write to info@skiare.com.au POA.
- Off piste skiing isn?t for everyone however for those
who are willing and able to take on some of the Dolomites
exhilarating shuttes and enclosed valleys we have one of
Italy?s most highly regarded mountain guides available.
Italian Law does not permit even the highest qualified ski
instructor to take you off piste skiing. You must be in
the company of a fully qualified Mountain Guide. So talk
to your ski instructor if you are considering a memorable
day of off piste skiing.
- Ice climbing is cold, challenging, exciting and rewarding.
With a fully qualified mountain guide this is one experience
you will never forget.
- Snow shoeing is fast becoming a popular activity for those
who do and don't ski. It can be as easy or as hard as you
would like. It is a great way to get around the mountains
by foot.
